| Brief Description |
The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Social Solidarity owns, in full, a number of properties (buildings, apartments, undeveloped plots, plots with buildings and agricultural land) formerly belonging to the National Organisation for Social Care (EOKF). These properties came under the ownership of the Ministry following the transfer of the General Secretariat for Social Solidarity from the Ministry of Health to the Ministry of Labour in 2012, without the necessary administrative and technical infrastructure having been developed for their management and utilization. The project aims to address the existing procedural gap concerning the management and utilization of the Ministry of Labour’s real estate portfolio following the transfer of the General Secretariat for Social Solidarity from the Ministry of Health. As a result of this gap, the Ministry’s services are unable to effectively manage and utilize the properties, while requests from Municipalities, Public Law Entities, Private Law Entities and citizens continue to accumulate and cannot be adequately addressed under the current arrangements.
