Areas of Activity
The operational framework of H.D.Y.K.A S.A. includes the following key areas:
- Study, development, operation, exploitation, management, and maintenance of Information & Communication Systems – equipment, software, and services – to serve all Social Security and Health Institutions, as well as public or broader public entities.
- Execution and management of projects in the field of information technology, communications, and new technologies, and administrative reform for the improvement of social security and health services within the framework of the NSRF.
- Conducting tenders for projects related to improving the quality of services provided by social security and health institutions, as well as improving the structures of their administrative and financial management.
- Electronic service for citizens in their transactions with Social Security Institutions (E-government).
- Ensuring and supporting the interoperability of Information & Communication Systems of Social Security Institutions under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor & Social Security, as well as entities active in health, welfare, and social policy issues.
- Information integration in the field of Social Security and Health in Greece.
- Provision of consulting services to Social Security Institutions.
- Cooperation-interconnection with corresponding bodies of the European Union.
- Provision of statistical or other types of information and evaluations for Social Security in Greece.
