Brief Description |
IDIKA S.A. currently manages its complex activities in the fields of Health and Social Security through an ecosystem of information systems, applications and electronic services. These systems have been developed over different periods, with different or complementary purposes and, in many cases, using different technologies. Interoperability requirements, both between internal systems and with external systems, are addressed through various technological approaches, such as shared databases or database tables, as well as APIs and web services that may have been developed using different technologies (e.g. SOAP, REST). At present, logging, API usage monitoring, data volumes and potential usage limits are managed separately by each application, which implements these methods within its own infrastructure (servers, log files, etc.). Resolving communication issues, or even identifying communication events across multiple and distributed log files, is therefore particularly challenging. The organization’s increasing requirements for internal interoperability, as well as interoperability with third-party systems and public-sector services, also require the establishment of a centralized interoperability hub (API Gateway). More specifically, the project concerns the provision of design, development, integration and production operational support services for three (3) key IDIKA information infrastructures: (a) the Electronic Prescription System; (b) the design and development of an Integrated IDIKA Registry (EΜΗ); and (c) the design and development of a Central Interoperability Hub (API Gateway). |
