The work stamp replaces the payment of employees and also covers their contributions to the insurance sector. When the work stamp is redeemed, part of the stated value is withheld against insurance contributions and is paid to the employee’s insurance coverage body. The issuance and redemption of work stamps are carried out by contracted payment service providers. In this context, the collaborating bodies are electronically connected to the AMKA-EMAES database maintained by H.D.Y.K.A. S.A.
