Plenary & Steering Committee Meeting – June 2025

On June 23, 2025, the OriON Joint Action Plenary and Steering Committee meetings were held, bringing together all partners to assess progress and align next steps, as the initiative enters its final six months.

The Plenary opened with a welcome and introduction by the OriON JA Coordinator, followed by updates on key areas of work.

• Work Package 4: Sustainability and Implementation, focusing on supporting the monitoring and analysis of the implementation of the European Beating Cancer Plan.
• Work Package 5: Analysis of Developments in National Cancer Control Programmes (NCCPs) .

Further updates from other Work Packages showcased the strong collaborative spirit that continues to drive the Joint Action forward.

A key highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the newly launched website for the Observatory’s action “OBS–Learning From Progress In Addressing Cancer In Europe (OBS-PACE)”, now live and accessible at:
